This marks the band’s second #1 single at the format and third top 5 hit. The platinum selling A Beautiful Lie’s “From Yesterday” reached #1 in 2007 and “The Kill” peaked at #3 in 2006 before becoming the first song in alternative radio history to be retired from the Billboard chart after a 52-week run. “The Kill” was recently named the #1 Alternative song of the last decade by AOL Radio listeners. The “Kings & Queens” video was featured as iTunes video of the week last month and was one of the most downloaded videos ever to be featured. Thirty Seconds to Mars has been actively encouraging their fans to donate money to emergency relief efforts in Haiti. The band has compiled and posted a list of relief organizations including UNICEF, The Red Cross, OXFAM and others on their website and social networking sites. They are also auctioning off tickets, backstage passes and dinner with the band at a concert of choice through ebay at http://ow.ly/Y3JP, all proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross. Leto participated in the “Haiti: How You Can Help" live telethon on Larry King Live on Jan. 18th which raised $5 million dollars for UNICEF and the American Red Cross, including the $1,000 winning-bid by Jared for the a suspenders that Larry was wearing.

Attention fans in Los Angeles! Grab your bike and join us for a one of a kind event Sunday 10.11

This Sunday night, October 11th and Monday night, October 12th we will be filming a one of a kind night time mass bicycle ride through the streets of Los Angeles as part of the short film for Thirty Seconds to Mars' new single “KINGS + QUEENS”.

We would love to invite you to join us for The Ride.

Its a one of a kind adventure and we will be shutting down streets, tunnels, bridges, Santa Monica Pier and even Hollywood Blvd.

We start at shooting at 6pm. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN BIKE. If you'd like to come on this special ride with us please respond to this email ridenow123@Gmail.com with your name and photo by Friday October 9th @ 6pm so we can know who is coming and can get you details.

If you want to be featured prominently and/or have a specialty bike, we would like you to be there the full time for continuity purposes. If you just want to join the fun feel free to come and be a part of it all.

We shoot the big rides SUNDAY NIGHT 6PM onward and MONDAY 6PM onward.
